33 Artist/Panel mural on the exterior of Waterfall Arts in Belfast, Maine. Waterfall Program Director Amy Tingle and I created, funded, and brought to life this incredible mural with 33 amazing Mid-Coast Maine Artists. The mural illuminates the Art Center making it a beacon for Art and Collaboration in Maine and beyond.

A 6’ x 6’ painted barn quilt is just what the activity space at Barnswallow Book, in Rockport, ME, needed! I created a rigid panel using MDO, varnished with 4 coats of UV Varnish, that could be put on the outside of the barn if desired.

After mentioning the importance of smaller projects the other day I thought I would share another one just installed this past Sunday for a local resident whose long gravel road / driveway needed a bit of whimsy and color to be sure others could find her rural home. That and she wanted something that would make her smile as she drove home each day. Not sure of how we ended with snoopy snoozing on a rainbow, but when she sent a deposit it included a 22 year old Peanuts comic and she does love and rescue beagles so maybe that is how 😉 Any which way it was a fun and cheerful project and made her smile and that is a big part of why I do what I do.
